“How are the economic, energy, and human-security changes transforming the Atlantic space?”
The International Intelligence Unit of Fundação Getulio Vargas, invites all students and young researchers to participate in the Seminar that will be held at Foundation’s headquarters on March 21, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The event will be directed to promising young people interested in international issues and aims to discuss, together with specialists from each area, themes worthy of deeper exploration and rich in terms of connections and possibilities for inter- and intra-regional integration.
The Jean Monnet Network on Atlantic Studies Project is the Erasmus+ Programme of European Union and brings together 10 Research Institutions and think tanks across the four continents of the Atlantic. All the participating countries can be considered strategic in the Atlantic area, and coordination of the work is assured by FGV NPII in Brazil.
The objective of the project is to develop a network to analyze three relevant issues in the Atlantic, of particular interest to the European Union. The themes are:
1. Energy
2. Economy – International Trade
3. Security
Experts and representatives of the project institutions will be coordinating discussion panels, which will be distributed according to the themes.
Certain that the event will strengthen students’ views of the Atlantic, and contribute to a better understanding of the EU’s role in this area, as well as the various regional integration processes in Europe and other continents in the Atlantic basin, we warmly invite all an active and questioning participation throughout this activity.
The conference will be held in English.
A certificate will be granted to those previously enrolled at the conference.
